Campaign Day Eight – Boundary Changes

Yet another beautiful day to be in Wiltshire. Today we were out and about in Monkton Farleigh, Melksham and Hilperton, and the new boundary changes was something that popped up a lot

Yet another beautiful day to be in Wiltshire.  Thank you to all the teams out delivering this morning.  This morning I have been pounding pavements in Monkton Farleigh, where it was a great pleasure to meet up with Andrew Murrison MP – thank you for your support.  Later in the afternoon we went out in Melksham and then onto Hilperton.

From a number of conversations on doorsteps tonight it was clear that there is still much concern over the boundary changes.  The decision to amend boundaries is taken by the Boundary Commission, and it is a decision that was taken several years ago. I recognise that my potential constituents have been very well served by their MPs and if elected I intend to follow in their footsteps. During the last three years whilst I have been living in Chippenham I have kept myself up to date with important issues affecting what will become the new Chippenham constituency.

If you are unsure which constituency your property is in, a map is available here
